Description
Produced in collaboration with Phaidon to accompany the Design Museum’s major exhibition Ferrari: Under the Skin, this lavish publication offers an in-depth look at the world’s most mythologised car brand – its founder, its design legacy and its singular place in cultural and industrial history. Edited by Andrew Nahum and Martin Derrick, the book combines personal ephemera, technical drawings, prototype models and high-end product photography to examine the craftsmanship and ambition behind Ferrari’s enduring appeal.
As Project Editor, I managed the full editorial production process – from manuscript refinement and contributor coordination through to image permissions and delivery. I oversaw all editorial stages, including copyediting, fact-checking and proofing, while ensuring strict alignment with the exhibition’s narrative and visual tone.
Regarding art direction, I worked closely with the curators to shape the book’s visual narrative – curating image sequences, developing brand storytelling and overseeing photography commissioning. The result is a book that’s as polished and performance-driven as the subject itself.
